The beads are strung onto thin wire and soldered directly into the piece. They will hold up as a decorative element, but take care when handling or cleaning the piece! Moving the wire too much could cause it to break.

These beautiful blood red swirls in clear glass immediately made me think of macro photos of ink dropped in water. I was inspired by the shape of Victorian “tear vials” (which is a myth- they were actually just scent vials, TBH) and the Bloodborne ‘blood vials’, of course. The vampy, gothic vibe just created itself, really. Not to mention the unreal glow of the reds in the sun. Hang it in your parlor, unsettle your guests. Profit?
